Opportunities for improvement

We have been to this hotel several times over the last 2 years. It is positioned very well from our point of view as tourists. Very close to the center and the employees are kind. It is also close to the train station and the bus station where the buses from the airport arrive. I recommend not staying in a room with a view of the casino on the right side of the hotel during the weekend. It's a continuous flow of loud people coming down that street from the city center. And this lasts until 4 in the morning. Including on the street in front of the hotel. On our last visit, I noticed that the hotel needs renovation. The walls, carpets and furniture in the room-the shower hose is leaking, the bathroom door handle is loosening, Also the spaces in the hallways. We were informed that room service is done every 3 days and not daily, but if we request, it can be done daily. Thus, on the next visit to Eindhoven we will choose another hotel.

The crown hotel in Eidenhoven was a choice of convince. Ticket planes and hotels are cheaper compared to Amsterdam and Rotterdam. This with a connection with nearby train station was a simple solution to travel across the Netherlands and have a peek of natural environment from the train. We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel so I cannot judge the quality of it but the place looks nice from the outside. Room was nice with only one serious disadvantage for me. The doors to the room were poorly soundproofed and we could always hear very clearly what is happening on the hallway, this gave a feeling that potential passbyers could hear what’s going on in the room (yes, im talking about sex). Soundproofing of the window was not great as well, however we didnt find it interrupting. Bed was really big and comfortable, and AC was working perfectly making the room cool (19c). BUT THE GYM, the gym ain’t gymming. I mean if you want to do cardio it’s totally fine and maybe it recompensates for poorly soundproofed doors. The downside of it really appears when you try doing something not cardio related as the weight go up only to 10kg. Gym is empty and have mirrors everywhere but u can’t lift real weight.

Nice stay

We had a very nice big room... on the street side.. But was really quite. Loved it how close it was to the centrum.

Hotel that does everything well at a good price

Located in the heart of the city and an easy walk to bars, restaurants, and shops. Very adequate hotel and every was done well. Staff were friendly and helpful. No frills, but a good option for travellers looking for value for money. The rooms are not massive, but good for a short stay
